In December 1982, Lieutenant General Manoj Pande was ordered to the Corps of Engineers or The Bombay Sappers. The fellows of the National Defence Academy, Lieutenant Gen Manoj Pande assumed as the Vice Chief of the Army Staff. मनोज चंद्रशेखर पांडे

मनोज चंद्रशेखर पांडे के पिता डॉ सी जी पांडे थे। उनके पिता नागपुर विश्वविद्यालय के मनोविज्ञान विभाग के प्रमुख के पद से सेवानिवृत्त हुए थे। उनकी माता का नाम प्रेमा पांडे था। वह नागपुर का रहने वाला है। स्कूली शिक्षा पूरी करने के बाद, उन्हें राष्ट्रीय रक्षा अकादमी (एनडीए) में भर्ती कराया गया। उन्होंने स्टाफ कॉलेज, केम्बरली (यूनाइटेड किंगडम) से स्नातक की पढ़ाई पूरी की, और उच्च कमान (एचसी) और राष्ट्रीय रक्षा कॉलेज (एनडीसी) पाठ्यक्रमों में भाग लिया। उनकी पत्नी का नाम अर्चना सालपेकर है। उनकी पत्नी गवर्नमेंट डेंटल कॉलेज एंड हॉस्पिटल, नागपुर से गोल्ड मेडलिस्ट थीं।

Biography About Manoj Chandrashekhar Pande

In December 1982, he was ordered to the Corps of Engineers or The Bombay Sappers. After ending the course in the United Kingdom, he come back to India and was scheduled as Brigade Major of a mountain brigade in Northeast India. When he was encouraged to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, he catered as the Chief Engineer at the United Nations Mission in Eritrea and Ethiopia.

Due to operation Parakram, the General Officer instructed the 117 Engineer Regiment in the sensitive Pallanwala Sector of Jammu and Kashmir, along the Line of Management.

He was encouraged to the rank of Brigadier and provided command of an Engineer brigade as part of a Strike Corps in the western theatre. After finishing the course at the NDC, he was specified as Brigadier General Staff Operations at HQ Eastern Command.

He was then encouraged to the rank of Major General and he lay hold of command of the 8 Mountain Division which was included in high-altitude operations in western Ladakh.
